Q) Why purchase advanced hosting?

Q) Can I move over my members and posts?
Absolutely! When you purchase advanced hosting we will move your members, posts, attachments, avatars, and smilies for free. Please note that modifications can't be transferred. Also one template, other than the phpBB3 defaults (proSilver and subSilver2), is transferred over as well.
Q) Are mods and templates hard to install?
Installing mods and templates is a matter of copying text from one file and pasting it into another. However, if you don't want to install them on your own we offer professional mod installing services starting at $12/hour. You can email support@freeforums.org for information.
Q) Are there still ads on my forum when I move?
No, our ads are removed when we move your forum over. Also, since you are on Advanced Hosting, you are able to place your own ads if you'd like.
Q) Can I keep my domain name for my forum I have here?
If you have a domain name with us when you move to Advanced Hosting, we will set it to work with the new host when you move. We then recommend that you transfer your domain from us to either HostGator or your own domain registrar after you move so you have full control over it.
Q) What about my Community Chest donations, do they move over with me?
Unfortunately, we are not able to transfer any Community Chest donations over to your new forum, so it is recommended you use them here before you move. Also, please note that we are also not able to convert the points into cash and transfer them to your PayPal account as well.
